After a really long wait, Sony’s PS5 exclusive Spider-Man 2 game has finally come to PC gamers. The PC release is out, and allows you to play the popular game on any gaming laptop or desktop, as long as it meets the necessary system requirements.
Before you get swinging through the streets of NYC as Peter Parker and Miles Morales again though, you must first download and install the game. If you don’t know how to do that, here’s how.
How to download Spider-Man 2 on your PC
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is available on both Steam and Epic Games, the two most popular digital distribution platforms for PC games. You can head over to either platform and grab the game.
To get the game on Steam, open the Steam launcher, head to the Store tab and search for Spider-Man 2. Proceed with the purchase and the game should begin installing on your machine. On Epic Games, you should see a dedicated tile for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on the right side of the homepage. If you don’t see it, you can always head to the Store tab and search for the game.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: What’s new?
Spider-Man 2 follows the tale of both spider-men – Peter Parker and Miles Morales, following the events of Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The heroes must now protect New York from new threats from this world and outside! The game also brings in plenty of new characters including fan-favourites like Black Cat, Kraven the Hunter and Venom.

The PC version of the game also brings in support for ultrawide monitors of 21:9, 32:9 and even 48:9 triple monitor setups. There’s also support for DLSS-powered resolutions and graphics, and those rocking a good GPU can also turn on ray tracing for getting the best and most accurate graphics.
