Microsoft has unveiled the Surface Pro 12‑inch, its smallest Copilot+ PC to date, combining tablet portability with laptop-level performance. The device is powered by the Snapdragon X Plus chip with a 45 TOPS NPU, helping bring AI smarts and smooth multitasking to a compact form. Here’s all you need to know.
All about the new 12-inch Microsoft Surface Pro
The new Surface Pro sports a 12‑inch PixelSense Flow touchscreen display with a crisp resolution and a smooth refresh rate.
Microsoft ditched the traditional Surface Connect port. Instead, the 12‑inch Pro relies fully on two USB‑C 3.2 ports, which support charging, data transfer, and DisplayPort to drive up to two 4K monitors.
The form factor remains flexible, with its built-in kickstand extending, and with an attachable keyboard (sold separately), it transitions neatly into a laptop mode. The Slim Pen now magnetically attaches to its back, where it also wirelessly charges.

It includes built-in security with Microsoft Pluton TPM 2.0, BitLocker support, and Windows Hello facial recognition.
Coming to the price, the new Surface Pro 12-inch is priced at Rs 90,999 for the 16GB + 256GB variant and Rs 99,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant.
