Motorola Razr 60 flips in with style, smarts, and a whole lot of foldable flair

Motorola has expanded its foldable portfolio in India with the launch of the Razr 60. The clamshell-style smartphone arrives as the latest in the brand’s push to democratise foldables, bringing flagship-adjacent features at a mid-premium price point. It slots just below the Razr 60 Ultra, which was unveiled earlier this month, and aims to strike a balance between innovation and accessibility.

What’s under the hood of the Motorola Razr 60?

The Razr 60 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, marking a shift from the Snapdragon lineup that many associate with foldables. It’s paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This combo, while not groundbreaking, is tuned to handle daily tasks with ease, and more importantly, fuel Motorola’s AI-backed Hello UI skin built on Android 15.

The outer shell carries a 3.6-inch pOLED cover screen with up to 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support, allowing users to interact with notifications, widgets, and even apps without unfolding the device. Inside, the 6.9-inch LTPO pOLED display shines with HDR10+, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, setting a high bar for foldables at this price point.

On the optics front, the Razr 60 houses a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide sensor on the rear, alongside a 32MP front shooter tucked into the main display. AI enhancements like Quad Pixel technology and Motorola’s Moto AI suite boost low-light performance and subject tracking.
