MWC is currently underway in Barcelona, Spain where plenty of brands are expected to announce their products over the next few days. Alongside the launch of a futuristic Robot phone, Chinese brand Honor has taken the wraps off of its latest foldable phone i.e. the Honor Magic V6.
It is touted to be the thinnest device among book-styled foldables. The device comes with several firsts feature in the foldable segment.
Honor Magic V6 specs and features
The Honor Magic V6 measures just 8.75mm when it is folded making it the thinnest foldable in the market. The device boasts an IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection. Honor says that the hinge of the phone is rated at 500,000 folds. It has bagged 5-star SGS drop resistance and anti-impact rating.

Despite the slim profile, Honor has managed to fit a 6,600mAh silicon-carbon battery on the Magic V6. This makes it the largest battery cell on foldable phone to date. The device supports 80W wired and 66W wireless charging.
The Honor Magic V6 comes with a 6.52-inch external display bearing a resolution of 2,420 x 1,080 pixels and a 6,000 nits peak brightness. The phone features a 7.95-inch internal screen with a 2,352 x 2,172 pixel resolution. Both are AMOLED LTPO panels with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The circular camera module on the Honor Magic V6 comprises of a 64MP 1/2 -inch telephoto lens, a 50MP main sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle unit. Both the internal and external screens have a 20MP camera for selfies and video calling.
Under the hood, the Honor Magic V6 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The foldable phone packs Agentic AI features like AI meeting agent, writing assistance, deepfake detection, live translation etc.
Honor Magic V6 pricing and availability
The Honor Magic V6 is offered in Red, Gold, Black, and White colours. The brand has not announced the configurations of the device neither its pricing. It is set to launch in China later this month.
