At this year’s CES, Motorola announced the Razr Fold with few key details. Now, the brand has fully unveiled its book-style foldable phone at the ongoing MWC 2026. The Lenovo-owned brand is finally joining the crowded horizontal folding phone segment after staying limited to flip phones for several years. It will compete against the likes of Samsung, Vivo, OPPO, Honor, Google, etc.
Motorola Razr Fold arrives officially
Motorola had already shared that the Razr Fold features a 6.56-inch and 8.09-inch external and internal OLED LTPO displays respectively. Additionally, it was confirmed to have three 50MP sensors for the primary, ultra-wide-angle, and periscope telephoto cameras.

Now, coming to the latest details, the Motorola Razr Fold’s external screen has a 165Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,520 x 1,080 pixels in a 21:9 ratio. It comes with a 32MP selfie snapper. Internally, the UTG screen gets a 120Hz refresh rate with a 2,484 x 2,232 pixel resolution. There is a 20MP front camera housed inside a punch-hole cutout. Both displays offer 6,000 nits peak brightness, 10-bit, pantone-validated colour, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.
The Razr Fold comes with support for Moto Pen Ultra external stylus which some foldables often lack.
Dimension-wise, the Razr Fold is said to measure 4.6mm and 9.9mm when open and closed respectively. It tips the scales at 244 grams. The foldable phone has IP48 and IP49 dust and water-resistant ratings. The device features stereo speakers with audio tuned by Bose and support Dolby Atmos.
On the hardware front, the Motorola Razr Fold is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. It is coupled with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The device is backed by a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Software-wise, the foldable phone ships with Android 16 with seven years of guaranteed updates.
Motorola Razr Fold pricing and availability
The Motorola Razr Fold’s price is set at EUR 1,999 (roughly Rs 2,15,233) bundled with the stylus pen. It will be first available in Europe and the come to North America in the coming months. The foldable phone is offered in Lily White and Blackened Blue with leather finishes.
