Motorola has become the first non-Google brand to begin Android 17 beta testing. The Lenovo-owned brand is now accepting registrations for its Android 17 beta programme, shortly after Google rolled out the first beta build for Pixel devices. Registrations are now live for the following select devices across different markets.

Motorola has clarified that not all applicants will be selected for the beta phase. Chosen participants will receive further communication by email once the rollout begins.

As this is an early beta build, users can expect potential bugs, performance inconsistencies and feature limitations. The company recommends installing beta software only on secondary devices rather than primary phones used for daily tasks.
