While we’re still reeling from the hangover of October’s blockbuster game launches, November is here with a calmer but compelling lineup of high-profile titles and promising indie gems.
As 2025 draws to a close (and honestly, it still feels like March was just yesterday), this month gives players a chance to breathe, clear their backlogs, or finally finish that game gathering dust on the home screen. However, November still has plenty to dive into. Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 breaks cover as Activision once again rewires the future of warfare.
In a surprising detour from the Gulf War setting of last year’s entry, Black Ops 7 jumps ahead to 2035, bringing back David Mason and the kind of futuristic chaos that defined the series’ most memorable moments.
Meanwhile, Nintendo’s new Switch 2 also gets its next big exclusive with Kirby Air Riders, the long-awaited successor to 2003’s Kirby Air Ride. The pink puffball returns to the skies with new machines, an expanded City Trial mode, and online races for up to sixteen players.
If you prefer your action bloodier and far less adorable, Marvel’s Deadpool VR hits Meta Quest 3 and 3S on November 18. Set within Mojo’s deadly game show, players take on ninja assassins, dodge shifting traps, and collect weapons across chaotic, obstacle-filled arenas. So here are all the games releasing this November.
Top video game releases for November 2025
Here are all the upcoming titles.
Anno 117: Pax Romana
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
Deadpool VR
Kirby Air Raiders
Project Motor Racing
Terminator 2D: No Fate
Anno 117: Pax Romana
Ubisoft’s beloved city-builder heads to the heart of the Roman Empire, bringing forth a new era of politics, prosperity, and power struggles. Anno 117: Pax Romana puts you in the sandals of a Roman governor, Marcus or Marcia, entrusted with building a newly conquered Celtic province. Your choices will influence the region’s prospects, and you can either impose Roman law and architecture to tighten imperial rule or accept local cultures to create a more balanced, hybrid society.
The game’s campaign combines political intrigue with city management, letting you oversee trade, taxation, and citizen happiness. Anno 117: Pax Romana features two separate regions, the sun-drenched Latium and the rain-soaked Albion, each offering contrasting terrain, cultures, and challenges.
Anno 117: Pax Romana launches on November 13, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
Treyarch and Raven Software are following up last year’s Black Ops 6 with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, a rare consecutive-year release for the franchise. Set in 2035, the game picks up a decade after Black Ops 2 and 40 years after the previous entry, plunging players into a high-tech battlefield where David Mason confronts the mysteriously resurrected terrorist Raul Menendez and The Guild, a powerful weapons and tech conglomerate. The story promises futuristic combat with psychological warfare, forcing players to navigate both strategic and chaotic settings.
The campaign features four-player co-op and culminates in a massive 32-player “Endgame” clash, merging single-player narrative with multiplayer action. Multiplayer also undergoes major changes, including omnimovement with triple wall jumps, shareable weapon builds, and new modes such as Skirmish and Overload.
Zombies mode also makes a return with Ashes of the Damned, new Wonder Weapons, and Dead Ops Arcade. With 18 maps, cross-mode weapon progression, and streamlined mechanics, Black Ops 7 releases on November 14, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Marvel’s Deadpool VR
Leave it to the Merc with the Mouth to turn virtual reality into complete anarchy. Marvel’s Deadpool VR, developed by Twisted Pixel Games and Oculus Studios, features Marvel’s fourth-wall-breaking antihero in a frenetic, laugh-out-loud adventure built exclusively for Meta Quest 3 and 3S. Voiced by Neil Patrick Harris, Wade Wilson wakes up in a lab with his head detached from his body, a setup that brilliantly captures his brand of absurdity before throwing players into a world of guns, swords, and sarcasm.
The campaign is divided into mission-based levels that combine acrobatic traversal with over-the-top combat. Players can parry bullets, execute clever moves, and rack up points for creative kills, all within slick cel-shaded graphics.
Packed with slapstick violence, self-aware comedy, and some of the most fluid VR combat to date, Deadpool VR promises to be Meta’s wildest showcase yet when it launches on November 18, 2025, for Meta Quest 3 and 3S.
Kirby Air Raiders
Two decades after its GameCube debut, Kirby Air Riders is back, built from the ground up and revving up the pink puffball’s most unusual adventure yet. Set on Skyah, a sprawling floating island of ancient ruins and modern arenas, the game takes Kirby’s cheerful pandemonium and turns it into a high-speed airborne brawl. The Switch 2’s improved performance allows for richer maps, real-time physics, and easy switching between racing, combat, and exploration.
Returning fan favourites Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Bandana Waddle Dee join Kirby with their own stats and signature moves, whereas the reimagined City Trial mode supports up to 16 players online and 8 locally.
Directed by Masahiro Sakurai, Kirby Air Riders retains the same playful spirit that defined the original, rebuilt with modern ambition. Kirby Air Riders launches November 20, 2025, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Project Motor Racing
Project Motor Racing brings back the spirit of Project CARS 2, but with a stronger emphasis on realism, consequences, and control. Developed by Straight4 Studios and published by Giants Software, this next-gen sim takes players from amateur racing to professional endurance leagues in a career mode based on real-world problems like budgets, sponsorships, and the pressure of every lap counting.
The car roster stretches from modern prototypes like the Toyota GR010 Hybrid and Aston Martin Valkyrie to legends like the Mazda 787B and Porsche 911 GT1-98, while 18 global tracks, including Nürburgring, Daytona, and Bathurst.
Terminator 2D: No Fate
Terminator 2D: No Fate brings Judgment Day back to life, this time as a side-scrolling, pixel-art action game from Bitmap Bureau, the studio behind Xeno Crisis. Set around the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, the game lets you take control of Sarah Connor and the T-800 through a series of missions to stop Skynet and its merciless assassin, the T-1000. Every level reimagines iconic moments from the film, from the freeway chase to the final fight at the steel mill.
Apart from its faithful adaptation, the game further develops the story with original scenarios and multiple endings, exploring alternate timelines based on the “no fate” premise. Players can choose between Story, Arcade, Infinite, and Boss Rush modes, each with customizable difficulty settings that change enemies, traps, and timing for all skill levels.
With its beautiful pixel art, dynamic action, and nostalgic authenticity, Terminator 2D: No Fate is the definitive Terminator game. It launches on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and PC on November 26, 2025.
