Carl Pei is stirring the pot again, and this time, it’s not just clever marketing. The Nothing Phone (3) is real, and its India launch may be just around the corner.
While the company has kept things characteristically cryptic, the device’s recent appearance on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website all but confirms that Nothing’s next act is nearly ready for showtime.

Earlier pegged for a Q3 2025 launch, signs now suggest that the curtain may rise on the upcoming Nothing phone sooner than expected. Teasers have started trickling in across Pei’s and Nothing’s social channels, especially on X (formerly Twitter).
The brand and Pei have been posting cryptic one-liners and GIFs that fans and followers are scrambling to decode. If past launches are any indication, the pace is about to pick up fast. So, here’s everything we know so far about the Nothing Phone (3).
Nothing Phone (3): Transparency, tweaked
Let’s talk design. If you were expecting a radical departure from the transparent aesthetic that’s become Nothing’s calling card; think again. The Phone (3) is expected to double down on its visual identity, complete with an evolved version of the Glyph Interface.
That means LED animations on the back will still blink and breathe to tell you when someone’s calling, when it’s time to leave for your Uber, or when your food’s almost here.
But it won’t be just another rehash. Rumours hint at a fresh triple camera module including, for the first time, a periscope-style telephoto lens. That’s a big leap into serious flagship territory, and a clear sign that Nothing wants to compete with the big boys.
Nothing Phone (3): Specs that mean business
Under the hood is expected to be Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This would mark Nothing’s boldest hardware play yet, backed by what’s reportedly a larger-than-5,000mAh battery and the brand’s latest software skin, Nothing OS 3.2 built on Android 15.

The display, meanwhile, could be a 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,000 nits. These numbers put it firmly in the same league as the OnePlus 13 and Galaxy S25 Plus.
Nothing Phone (3) pricing: A premium pivot
Carl Pei has hinted at a price tag of around £800 in the UK (roughly Rs 90,000), but insiders suggest that the Indian launch price will land closer to Rs 55,000–65,000. That’s a significant jump from the Phone (2), but one that positions the Phone (3) right alongside premium Android flagships, and perhaps just beneath the iPhone 16 in the pecking order.
It’s also a strategic move. Nothing’s first two phones made waves in the mid-range space, but the Phone (3) is shaping up to be the company’s first real power move in the flagship arena. However, if you’re looking to experience Nothing’s premium software at a more affordable price, check out the newly launched Nothing Phone (3a) series.
The Nothing Phone (3) is no longer just a teaser drop or a design sketch. It’s coming very soon, and it could cement Nothing as more than just the indie darling of tech Twitter.
As always, the devil is in the details, and we expect more of those to surface soon, especially if the cryptic activity on X is anything to go by. For more details on the Nothing Phone (3) and the latest tech, stay tuned to Unboxed by Croma.
