Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition is heading for India launch on December 9. For those unfamiliar, the brand is known for Community Edition-branded devices as limited-edition offerings co-created with its vast fan base, featuring community-designed hardware, software themes, or packaging.
In the past, the brand has had Community Edition versions for the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus and Phone (2a). Now, the Phone (3a) Community Edition is also set to debut next week.
Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition teaser released
Back in March this year, Nothing announced the Community Edition project for the Phone (3a). At that time, it offered dedicated timelines for hardware, especially the Glyph interface, colour options, software, and marketing to let its vast community members participate and provide their valuable suggestions.
In a new community post, the company revealed that it received 700 applications in a span of nine months. It is now offering its community members a chance to attend the Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition launch event, which will be held in London on the said date.
Community members can fill out an online form to win a chance to attend the launch event in person. Participants should be aware that the company will only bear the cost of hosting at the event, and they will need to pay their own expenses for travel.
Nothing is known for teasing its upcoming devices with Pokémon images. Before making the Phone (3a) official, it was teased with a regular image of Arcanine. Now, the brand is teasing the Phone (3a) Community Edition in an alternate-coloured version of Arcanine, indicating an enhanced look for the device.
Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition specifications (expected)
