Nothing Phone (4a) may arrive with camera and performance upgrades

Nothing is working on its next affordable smartphone, likely called the Nothing Phone (4a). The device is expected to launch soon, but so far, no concrete details about it have been revealed. Now, the latest reports reveal its design bits and some key features. Here’s all you need to know.

All you need to know about the Nothing Phone (4a)

The Nothing Phone (4a) is said to follow the brand’s minimalist approach but add a new edge. Leaked renders show a semi-transparent back with a centred camera layout and flat sides that feel cleaner and more premium.

The signature glyph lighting is expected to make a comeback in a subtle, toned-down way. The phone could come in black, white, and a new pastel shade, keeping Nothing’s design palette simple yet distinctive.

Reports suggest that the Nothing Phone (4a) could feature a triple-rear camera system with a 64MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto unit, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Yes, the Phone (4a) may also get a zoom sensor, like the flagship.

The device may feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. It may get a Panda Glass panel for added protection.

Inside, the phone is expected to run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Battery performance should also get a lift with a significantly larger battery. Exact details, however, are unknown.

The Nothing Phone 4a is rumoured to launch in early 2026, and could be priced under Rs 30,000. Upon launch, it will compete with the likes of OnePlus and Realme.
