The Oakley Meta AI glasses will launch in India next month

Ray-Ban Meta glasses were launched recently in India, and they have been quite popular ever since. Building on that hype, Meta is bringing another pair of smart glasses to India, and this time they are from Oakley.

The Oakley Meta HSTN AI glasses, which made their debut in June this year, are now heading to the Indian market in December. What’s special about these is that they come with cool AI features, thanks to the Meta AI assistant.

The Oakley Meta HSTN performance AI glasses will launch on December 1 in India. They will be made available via online and offline stores. There’s no word on the India pricing, but globally, they cost $399 (about Rs 35,000).

Notably, prices for the Ray-Ban Meta glasses Gen 1 start under Rs 30,000. Having said that, the Oakley Meta HSTN should be more than that, as they come with cool AI features. Let’s check out what you’d get with these.

The Oakley Meta HSTN AI glasses offer a sporty look, featuring a stylish design, which the brand says is meant to withstand high-intensity activities. These are performance-centric glasses, and hence, they come with Meta AI assistant for a hand-free experience.

With features like “Hey Meta,” you can summon the Meta AI assistant and ask it to take photos, send messages, play your favourite music, and ask for any real-time updates.

They feature a 12MP camera that supports 3K resolution. There’s also an open-ear directional Bluetooth speaker for listening to music, podcasts, and calls, while still being aware of your surroundings.
