OnePlus has started pushing out OxygenOS 16.0.2.400 to the OnePlus 13s, and besides bumping the security patch to the latest, it also includes a few new features.
The update is currently hitting units in India first, so you might want to head to your Settings app to check.
OxygenOS 16.0.2.400 now rolling out
First up, the camera is getting a new toy. There is a “Neon” filter included here that supposedly replicates the look of CineStill 800T. If you aren’t a photography nerd, that is a specific motion picture film stock people love for its distinct glowing red halation around bright lights at night.
So, if you are trying to get those moody, atmospheric night shots, this might actually help you pull that off without needing an external editor.
Then there is the home screen stuff. You can now stack 2×1 widgets, which really helps if you are trying to save space. Plus, you can finally drag and drop resized app icons and even the app clone icons to reorganise them. It just makes things feel a bit more fluid.
Then there are the optimisations. One handy fix involves Circle to Search. Before, if you hid the gesture guide bar, it was a pain to trigger. Now, this works even if that bar is invisible—you just touch the spot where it usually sits.
On the boring but necessary side, there are some storage tools added to the Smart Sidebar. This lets you clear up junk without digging through the main settings menu. Private Safe is also getting a usability bump. You can edit your hidden photos and videos directly inside that safe folder now, so you don’t have to unlock them first.
Phone Manager is also getting smarter. This will now automatically update its blocklists over Wi-Fi or data to catch spam calls faster. And naturally, this comes with the December 2025 Android security patches.
