OnePlus Turbo to debut soon with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 9,000mAh battery, and more

OnePlus recently confirmed that it will soon launch a new smartphone series dubbed the OnePlus Turbo in China. A recent leak by tipster Abhishek Yadav suggests that the Turbo will also hit other markets.

Recently, the device was spotted on benchmarking platforms such as AnTuTu and Geekbench. Additionally, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has shared key details about the phone. Here’s a look at everything known about the OnePlus Turbo so far.

OnePlus Turbo AnTuTu, Geekbench listings

An upcoming OnePlus smartphone with the model number PLU110 has surfaced on AnTuTu and Geekbench. These listings reveal that the device is equipped with a 165Hz display, a Snapdragon 8s Gen

The OnePlus Turbo managed to record an impressive score of 2,609,327 on AnTuTu. On Geekbench, the device scored 2,124 in the single-core test and 6,880 in the multi-core test. These specifications and benchmark results indicate that the OnePlus Turbo is likely to deliver top-tier performance in the affordable flagship segment.

According to Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus Turbo will feature a 6.78-inch BOE-supplied flat LTPS OLED display. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate like the premium OnePlus 15. The leak also states that the device will be available in multiple configurations, including 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, and 16GB+512GB.

The phone will debut in the Chinese market in three colour options: Unique Black, Ocean Green, and Light Chaser Silver. As per other reports, it is also expected to feature a massive 9,000mAh battery with fast charging support, a metal middle frame, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. Despite housing a large battery, the device is tipped to weigh around 217 grams.

Another OnePlus Turbo series phone in the works

There have also been rumours suggesting that the above-mentioned OnePlus Turbo phone could be accompanied by a slightly lower-tier model. DCS claims that this device may carry V-branding and feature a Snapdragon 7-series chipset.

The leak further states that this phone will also sport a 165Hz display and a large battery. While other specifications remain under wraps, it is expected to launch in China in colour options such as Unique Black, Nova White, and Fearless Blue.
