OnePlus Pad Go 2 5G launched with 10,050mAh battery, Watch 5 Lite tags along

Back in 2023, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus Pad Go, a budget-friendly tablet with 4G LTE support. Today, the brand has introduced the OnePlus Pad Go 2 as its successor. Apart from offering 5G connectivity, the new tablet brings improvements across areas such as display, chipset, and battery life.

Alongside the OnePlus Pad Go 2, the company has also unveiled the OnePlus 15R, a performance-focused smartphone, and the affordable Watch Lite smartwatch. OnePlus Pad Go 2 5G: Specs and features

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a reader-friendly 7:5 aspect ratio. It supports a sharp 2.8K resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 900 nits of HBM brightness. For content consumption and entertainment, the tablet is equipped with quad speakers for an enhanced audio experience.

The tablet is powered by the Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset and houses a massive 10,050mAh battery with support for 33W charging. For smooth performance, it ships with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, which is optimised for the tablet form factor, along with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to UFS 3.1 storage.

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 does not feature a fingerprint sensor and instead relies on face unlock. For photography, it sports an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Additional features include Stylo (stylus) support, a 44W in-box charger, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB-C port. The tablet measures just 6.83mm in thickness and weighs around 193 grams.

OnePlus Watch Lite: Specs and features

The OnePlus Watch Lite features a 1.46-inch AMOLED display with an impressive peak brightness of 3,000 nits. For fitness and health tracking, the smartwatch offers over 100 training modes along with a 60-second Wellness Overview feature that provides a comprehensive health assessment.

The Watch Lite runs on the RTOS operating system and promises up to 10 days of battery life. It also supports pairing with two devices simultaneously. In terms of build, the smartwatch comes with a 36L stainless-steel case and measures just 8.9mm in thickness while weighing around 35 grams, making it OnePlus’ thinnest smartwatch to date.

OnePlus Pad Go 2, Watch Lite: Price and availability

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is available in Charcoal Black and Lavender Drift colour options, with only the black variant supporting 5G connectivity. The tablet is offered in three configurations: 8GB + 128GB (Wi-Fi only), 8GB + 256GB (Wi-Fi only), and 8GB + 256GB (Wi-Fi + 5G), priced at Rs 26,999, Rs 29,999, and Rs 32,999, respectively. Buyers can also avail a limited-time discount of Rs 1,000 along with an instant bank discount of Rs 2,000. The tablet will go on sale starting December 18.

Currently, the OnePlus Watch Lite is limited to the European market, where it is priced at 179 euros (~Rs 19,000). As of now, there is no clarity on whether the smartwatch will be launched in India.
