This year, OnePlus surprised its fans by launching a compact flagship phone dubbed the OnePlus 13s. Next year, the brand is expected to announce the OnePlus 15s as its successor. The rumour mill has been gradually leaking details about it over the past few weeks. A new leak, based on internal testing, has now revealed several key details about the device.
OnePlus 15s specifications (rumoured)
Starting from the front, the OnePlus 15s is expected to feature a 6.31-inch BOE X3 OLED screen, maintaining a compact form factor similar to its previous generation. While the screen resolution is said to remain at 1.5K, the refresh rate will reportedly jump to 165Hz, promising an ultra-smooth experience while scrolling and gaming.
Like the bigger OnePlus 15, the 15s will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, claims the leak. While there is no information about the RAM and storage capacities, the report reveals that the device will house a huge 7,500mAh battery with support for 100W or 120W fast charging. However, wireless charging may not be included.
Moving on to the optics, the OnePlus 15s’ back panel will have a dual-camera setup equipped with either a Sony IMX906 50MP or Samsung HP5 200MP main camera, accompanied by a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto camera.
Some earlier reports had claimed that the device might feature an ultra-wide camera, which was also absent on the OnePlus 13s. However, the new leak clearly states that the OnePlus 15s will not include an ultra-wide camera.
OnePlus 15s will be based on OnePlus 15T
To recall, the OnePlus 13s was based on the China-exclusive OnePlus 13T. Therefore, the OnePlus 15s is also expected to mirror the upcoming OnePlus 15T, which may launch in early Q2 2026 in China.
