The upcoming OnePlus 15R, which is set to launch on December 17 in India, is said to be based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered OnePlus Ace 6T scheduled to debut this month in China. As per a new leak by an online tipster, OnePlus is working on yet another performance-focused phone powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip.
While it is expected to launch as an Ace-series phone, its final marketing name is under wraps. There’s a possibility that it could be the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo. Considering that the Nord 5 features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, it seems very apt that this phone may get rebranded as the Nord 6 in markets outside China.
OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo specifications (rumoured)
As per the leak, the alleged OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo will arrive with a 6.78-inch flat OLED screen with support for a 1.5K resolution. Since it is a gaming-focused phone, it may either support a 144Hz or 165Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Ace 6 Turbo is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. It may pack a battery of around 9,000mAh, which would be the largest ever on a phone from a mainstream brand. The leak has no information about the other specs of the device.
OnePlus Ace 6 launch timeframe (rumoured)
The leak reveals that the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo will debut before China’s upcoming Spring Festival, which falls on February 17. Therefore, this phone is expected to debut in China in January or early February.
It is said to be designed to rival upcoming Dimensity 8500 chipset phones, one of which happens to be the Redmi Turbo 5.
OnePlus Nord 6's expeccted launch timeframe
As per an X post (formerly Twitter) by tipster Yogesh Brar earlier this month, the Nord 6 could be announced in the second quarter of 2026. It is advisable to wait for further reports before concluding that the Nord 6 will be a rebranded version of the Ace 6 Turbo.
