After a long three-year hiatus, OnePlus is bringing back its popular T-series, and it’s not just a minor refresh. The newly announced OnePlus 13T, launched in China, isn’t a simple follow-up to the OnePlus 13. Instead, it reimagines the flagship with a clear focus on ergonomics, compact comfort and smarter features.
Think of it as a flagship phone you can actually use with one hand, without compromising on power or battery. Intrigued? Keep reading to learn more about the latest phone from OnePlus.
OnePlus 13T: Specifications and features
The OnePlus 13T sports a compact 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a crisp FHD+ resolution and a silky-smooth adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120Hz. The 6.32-inch screen is a rarity in 2025, when smartphones are increasingly adopting larger displays. The screen is protected by Oppo’s Crystal Shield Glass and features an in-display optical fingerprint scanner along with a 16MP front camera.

Under the hood, the 13T runs on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and a staggering 1TB of internal storage; it’s more than capable of handling heavy multitasking and gaming.
The device also introduces the new “Shortcut Key” – a flexible evolution of the iconic Alert Slider. Although some OG OnePlus fans will miss the alert slider, the Shortcut Key is undeniably more functional. It can still toggle audio modes, but now also supports launching apps and custom actions.
Despite its petite form factor, the phone houses a large 6,260mAh silicon-carbon battery, supported by 80W fast charging. OnePlus has also added a sizeable 4,400mm² VC cooling chamber to ensure sustained performance under pressure.
On the camera front, you get a 50MP main sensor (IMX906) and a 50MP 2x telephoto shooter, bringing flagship-level photography to a more pocketable form factor. Rounding out the experience is ColorOS 15, based on Android 15 for Chinese users. OxygenOS is expected internationally. The phone also comes with IP65 dust and water resistance.
OnePlus 13T: Price and availability
The OnePlus 13T is currently up for pre-order in China in three chic colourways: Grey, Pink and Black. The base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs 40,000), while the fully-loaded 16GB/1TB version costs CNY 4,499 (approximately Rs 52,600). Deliveries in China begin April 30. There’s no word on an India launch, however, the global launch is expected in the coming months. For now, you can check out the OnePlus 13 or OnePlus 13R, both of which are available in India.
If you’ve been longing for a premium smartphone that doesn’t feel like a brick in your pocket, the OnePlus 13T might just be your perfect everyday companion. And to keep up with the latest updates in tech, stay tuned to Unboxed by Croma.
