OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra, Ace 5 Racing Edition announced

OnePlus’ Ace series maybe restricted to the China audience, but it does feature devices that are aimed at anyone looking for performance-oriented phones. Adding to this line-up are two new phones – OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and the Ace 5 Racing Edition. Let’s take a closer look at both these phones.

OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra key features, specs

The Ace 5 Ultra features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 2800 x 1272 pixels resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and 1,400 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage.

OnePlus is promising top-notch gaming performance courtesy of the e-sports Wi-Fi G1 chip, and Fengchi gaming core, achieving dual high-performance gaming performance and one per cent Low frame. Making sure that the gaming sessions last long, there’s a built-in ‘Glacier Cooling System’.

For photography, there’s a dual-camera setup consisting of 50MP primary lens and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Up front there’s a 16MP snapper. The phone runs Android 15-based ColorOS 15, and for security, there’s an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

Backing the device is a 6,700mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.

OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition key features, specs

As for the Racing Edition, the phone features a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, and is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 9400e processor. It also comes with up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage.

For photography, there is a 50MP primary camera at the back, accompanied by a 2MP monochrome lens. Up front is a 16MP snapper.

The dual-SIM phone runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top, and is backed by a 7,100mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.

OnePlus Ace 5 prices

Prices for the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition starts from 1,799 yuan (approximately Rs 21,300), and go up to 2,499 yuan (approximately Rs 29,600). On the other hand, prices for the Ultra start from 2,799 yuan (approximately Rs 33,100) and go up to 3,799 yuan (approximately Rs 45,000). Needless to say, these two new phones will only be made available in the Chinese market.
