The OnePlus Nord 6 launch date has been officially announced in India. The upcoming offering’s microsite on the official website also confirms key specifications. The Nord 6 will be arriving as the successor to last year’s Nord 5 with significant upgrades. Notably, it is a rebadged version of the OnePlus Turbo 6 that released in China earlier this year.

The OnePlus Nord 6 will be unveiled on April 7 at 7 pm IST. It is confirmed to be available from Amazon, OnePlus website, and select retail stores across the country.

The upcoming smartphone is confirmed to feature a squircle camera island similar to the OnePlus 15 series. It will have an OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits peak brightness that can go as low as 2 nits in dark environments. The screen will be responsive to wet and sweaty hands

The OnePlus Nord 6 will also offer 165Hz FPS while playing popular gaming titles. It will have a Touch Reflex chip for an ultra-fast instant touch sampling, a 6-axis gaming gyroscope, and a built-in Spatial Audio Booster. 

The smartphone is confirmed to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. It will be backed by a mammoth 9,000mAh battery cell that is touted to offer 2.5 days of usage. The device can be topped up via 80W fast charging along with support for 27W reverse wired charging. There is also a G2 WiFi chipset for a stable and enhanced internet connection. 

The OnePlus Nord 6 will come in Quick Silver, Fresh Mint, and Pitch Black colours. The brand also subtly teased the phone with the largest battery in the Rs 35,000 – Rs 40,000 bracket, hinting that the base model may start in this pricing segment.
