OnePlus has officially confirmed that the Pad 3 will hit the Indian market on September 5 at noon. The company revealed the launch date after keeping buyers guessing for weeks, though the actual pricing for India is still under wraps.
Flagship chipset, 3.4K 144Hz display, and big battery life
This is possibly OnePlus’ most ambitious tablet yet and is built to flex flagship-level specs. At its core is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, the fastest mobile chip the company has ever shipped. This is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The display also looks impressive, at least on paper. The tablet sports a 13.2-inch LCD with a sharp 3392 × 2400 pixels resolution, 12-bit colour depth, and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. OnePlus is also throwing in some serious battery stamina with a 12,140mAh cell that supports 80W fast charging.

Audio gets a premium upgrade too with an eight-speaker setup designed for immersive sound. At the same time, productivity tools like OnePlus’ Open Canvas mode let you drag and drop across up to three apps simultaneously. Optional add-ons like the Stylo 2 stylus and Smart Keyboard make the Pad 3 a solid work-play hybrid.
OnePlus hasn’t shared Indian pricing yet, but with the US model debuting at $699 (around Rs 61,000), it is reasonable to expect a local tag somewhere between Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000. For context, the OnePlus Pad 2 launched at Rs 39,999.
Given the dearer price tag in the US, it’s reasonable to expect a price hike this year. If that does happen, the Pad 3 would be forced into direct competition with Apple’s more budget-oriented iPads and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab series. The colour options include Storm Blue and Frosted Silver.
