Oppo is gearing up to unveil the Find N6 foldable globally next week. The brand has started teasing the upcoming offering ahead of its official announcement. The Find N6 is touted as the ‘world’s flatest foldable display’ with a crease-free experience.
Oppo has revealed the core technology behind this. The hinge is at the heart of a foldable phone, and over time it results into creases. Many OEMs such as Samsung have improved hinge designs over several generations of foldable phones.
Oppo details Find N6's crease-free experience
The Oppo Find N6 is claimed to offer a zero-feel crease on the inner display. The company is using its second-generation ‘titanium flexion’ hinge featuring an ‘industry-first 3D liquid printing’ to smooth out surface irregularities.
Oppo is also introducing a new flexible glass technology called ‘auto-smoothing flex glass’ compared to ultra-thin glass currently found on foldable phones. The new glass is said to be 50 percent thicker and can restore 99.9 per cent of its original shape after bending.
The Oppo Find N6 has bagged TUV Rheinland Reliable Folding Certification. The inner display is claimed to stay flat even after 6,00,000 folds. It is rated at 1 million folds and comes with IP56, IP58, IP59 ratings making it resistant to high-pressure water jets and submersion.
The Oppo Find N6 is confirmed to arrive in Golden Orange, Original Titanium, and Deep Black colours. It will be available in 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB RAM and storage configurations.
