Oppo has officially started teasing its K13 Turbo series for the Indian market. This phone is special because of its signature feature – an actual, literal fan built right into the chassis. In fact, Oppo says that this is India’s only smartphone with an integrated cooling fan. And that’s exactly what the teaser is about.
While the short animation mostly just shows air blasting from side vents, we already have a solid idea of the phone’s full design since it already launched in China. You can tell from just a glance that this device is aimed squarely at gamers.
Advanced specs across the board
Moving on to the specifics, Oppo is packing in what it describes as an “advanced thermal solution” complete with an innovative airflow design and even something the company calls a “smoke-visualization-ready” duct system.
The entire setup is engineered to deliver some serious heat dissipation, which should come in handy for mobile gamers who push their hardware to the limits.
Diving into the hardware we expect to see, the K13 Turbo Pro is the real headliner. It will rock the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The standard K13 Turbo model will likely feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 instead.
Both phones share a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering all this is a 7,000mAh battery that gets topped up with 80W wired charging.
For your photo ops, the phones are expected to feature a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, with a 16-megapixel camera handling selfies.
Impressively, the series also boasts IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings for robust water resistance. These specs go under the assumption that the Chinese and Indian models are identical.

The Oppo K13 Turbo and Turbo Pro are expected to launch in the first week of August. Indian pricing is tipped to be around Rs 25,000 for the standard model and about Rs 30,000 for the Pro.
