ColorOS 16 rollout begins in India: Check eligible OPPO devices here

Oppo has officially unveiled ColorOS 16, its next-generation operating system based on Android 16, alongside the global launch of the OPPO Find X9 series. The update promises to make Oppo’s devices faster, more connected, and visually refined, with a strong dose of AI running behind the scenes.

Oppo has started rolling out the update to devices in India. Wondering when your Oppo phone will get ColorOS 16? Check out the comprehensive list below. Some of these devices aren’t available in India, but we’re including them anyway.

ColorOS 16: List of eligible OPPO devices

The rollout begins with the Oppo Find X9 and X9 Pro, followed by the Reno 13 series and select F-series models in early 2026. Oppo promises noticeable boosts in performance, responsiveness, and battery life for devices released in the past two years.

In November 2025, the following devices will get the ColorOS 16 update:

December 2025 will bring the update to:

ColorOS 16: Key features

ColorOS 16 introduces the Luminous Rendering Engine and Trinity Engine, technologies aimed at delivering smoother animations, quicker app transitions, and reduced visual latency. The interface draws inspiration from natural light and shadow, pairing fluid movement with ambient wallpapers and a redesigned always-on display.

AI plays a starring role this year. The AI Mind Space hub brings together notes, reminders, and contextual recommendations, working both offline and in the cloud. It can summarise text, edit photos, and even suggest creative tweaks. Casual creators get tools like AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, and Master Cut for one-tap photo enhancement.
