Vivo expands update rollout again

OriginOS 6 rollout reaches Vivo T3 and T3 Pro with Android 16 update

Vivo is widening the reach of its latest software upgrade. The Android 16-based OriginOS 6 update is now rolling out to the Vivo T3 and Vivo T3 Pro, bringing the mid-range pair in line with the company’s broader update roadmap.

Both devices entered the trial phase earlier this year, and the stable build is now beginning to reach users. The Vivo T3 is receiving the update with firmware version PD2346DF_EX_A_16.2.10.4.W30, while the Vivo T3 Pro is getting PD2404GF_EX_A_16.2.6.3.W30. At over 4GB, the update is a fairly substantial download, so make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection before installing.

And as with most staged rollouts, availability may initially be limited to select regions. Users who don’t see the update immediately can also request early access through Vivo’s Trial version channel in the system update settings.

OriginOS 6: A bigger refresh under the hood

OriginOS 6 introduces several interface and usability tweaks that aim to make the software feel more dynamic. Among the headline additions is Origin Island, a new feature designed to surface real-time updates while multitasking across apps.

The update also brings an updated Control Center with refreshed lighting effects and redesigned system fonts. Vivo has added new clock styles and widgets as well, offering more ways to personalise the home screen without relying on third-party tools.

Alongside the cosmetic updates, Vivo is also tightening up the security side of things. OriginOS 6 includes improvements to privacy and system protection, an area smartphone makers have been steadily refining as Android evolves.

The overall feature list appears largely in line with the update that first appeared on the Vivo X100 series, suggesting Vivo is keeping the software experience consistent across its lineup.
