Poco has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, and it’s a performance-centric budget phone. Dubbed the Poco M8 5G, the smartphone offers a 3D Curved Display, Snapdragon 6 series performance, and an all-day battery. Here’s all you need to know.
Poco M8 5G key features and highlights
The Poco M8 5G is essentially a rebadged version of the recently launched Redmi Note 15. It gets the same design, with a boxy camera island, curved screen, and a tall form factor.
You get a 6.77-inch 3D Curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness for better sunlight legibility. It has an FHD+ resolution for watching crisp content. Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.
It has an Adreno GPU for graphical tasks. The device comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Battery-wise, there’s a 5,520mAh battery with support for 45W wired and 18W wireless fast charging.
Coming to the cameras, you get a dual-rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP auxiliary unit. Upfront, it has a 20MP selfie snapper. The device can shoot 4K resolution videos from the rear camera.
Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner and IP65 + IP66 dust and water resistance support. Lastly, it boots on Android 15-based HyperOS 2, but supports four years of OS and six years of security updates.
If you liked these features, you can buy the Poco M8 5G starting at Rs 18,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 19,999, whereas the 8GB + 256GB is priced at Rs 21,999. With bank offers, you can grab the device starting at Rs 15,999.

The device goes on sale starting January 13 in India. In the same price range, you can also check out the newly launched Redmi Note 15, which has an identical design and features. There’s also the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, which offers a unique design and a customisable UI.
