PlayStation Plus February lineup offers 4 diverse gaming titles

Sony is dropping a four-game bundle for PlayStation Plus members this February 3. It includes Undisputed, Subnautica: Below Zero, Ultros, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. Let’s dive in.

A fun four game lineup

Undisputed is a boxing sim that gives fans of fighting games something modern to chew on. It features over 70 licensed fighters and a pretty deep character creator if you want to build your own champion from the ground up.

You also get to manage attributes and traits, which actually matters when you are trying to outmanoeuvre someone in the ring. The career mode also takes you from amateur bouts all the way to the top, so there is plenty to sink your teeth into here.

Then we have Subnautica: Below Zero. If you played the original Subnautica, you know the drill, but this time you are freezing your tail off on Planet 4546B. You are there to figure out what happened to your sister, but mostly you will be trying not to freeze or get eaten by the local wildlife. It is all about crafting, building habitats, and staying alive in a harsh environment, which just so happens to look stunning at the same time.

Ultros is the weird one of the bunch, but in the best way possible. It is a sci-fi Metroidvania with art by El Huervo – the same artist who worked on Hotline Miami. The visuals are psychedelic, and the gameplay mixes brutal combat with… gardening. You plant seeds to open up new paths. You’ll get a better idea of what we mean once you start playing it.

Finally, there is Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. This one has been around since 2019, but remains a solid pick if you want to fly fast and blow things up. You pilot modern and futuristic jets through some intense dogfights in it. We wouldn’t go as far to call it a Microsoft Flight Simulator-like sim, but un-realism can be a lot more fun sometimes.
