Starting at the front, the Realme Neo 8 features a 6.78-inch customised Samsung AMOLED screen that delivers a 1.5K resolution, a smooth 165Hz refresh rate, and up to 5,200 nits of peak brightness. For security, it includes an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Neo 8 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and a massive 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The device runs the latest Realme UI 7 based on Android 16.
Coming to the optics, the Neo 8 features a 16MP front camera. On the rear, it houses an OIS-enabled 50MP Sony IMX96 main camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom, 7x lossless zoom, and up to 120x digital zoom.
Realme Neo 8 also introduces a new PC handheld gaming mode that allows users to log into their Steam accounts and play verified PC games with synced cloud saves and shared progress. Once downloaded, these games can be played offline and support both external controllers and on-screen touch controls.
Other features include dual speakers, an x-axis linear motor for enhanced in-game vibrations, an IR blaster, a metal middle frame, a glass back, and an IP68/IP69-rated dust- and water-resistant body.
