Realme has finally unveiled the much-awaited Realme 16 Pro series of smartphones. The lineup includes two models: the Realme 16 Pro and the Realme 16 Pro+. The major highlights of the series include a 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 200MP primary camera, and a massive 7,000mAh battery. Here’s a look at what’s packed inside both models.
Realme 16 Pro, 16 Pro+: Specs and features
The Realme 16 Pro features a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with rounded corners, while the Realme 16 Pro+ comes with a slightly larger 6.8-inch quad-curved AMOLED screen. Both phones offer a sharp 1.5K resolution, a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and support for 1.07 billion colours.
The Realme 16 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7300 Max chip, whereas the Pro+ variant packs the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. The lineup ships with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Both devices house a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
The Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ feature a 200MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the rear. Being the Pro+ variant, the 16 Pro+ also gets a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. Both phones feature a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Like the recently launched Realme GT 8 Pro, the 16 Pro series comes preloaded with Realme UI 7 based on Android 16. The lineup is confirmed to receive three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates. Both devices offer an under-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and an IR blaster.
Realme 16 Pro, 16 Pro+: Price and availability
The Realme 16 Pro is available in two configurations: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. These variants are priced at Rs 31,999, Rs 33,999, and Rs 36,999, respectively. Buyers can choose from colour options, such as Pebble Grey, Orchid Purple, and Master Gold.
Meanwhile, the 16 Pro+ comes in two variants: 8GB+256GB for Rs 41,999 and 12GB+512GB for Rs 44,999. It has arrived in shades like Pebble Grey, Cameillia Pink, and Master Gold
