Here’s your first look at the Realme Neo 8

Realme has started teasing the arrival of the Realme Neo 8 in China. This device will arrive as an affordable flagship phone powered by the latest Snapdragon 8-series chip. While the launch date is yet to be confirmed, the company has revealed the design of the phone’s purple variant.

Shown above is the Cyber Purple edition of the Realme Neo 8. As can be seen, it has a gaming-focused look, equipped with a triple-camera setup with 120x digital zoom support, RGB lighting, and VOOC branding.

While the brand has not confirmed it yet, it appears that the device is equipped with a periscope telephoto camera. Its front side is yet to be revealed, but rumours suggest a flat display for enhanced gaming. For durability, it will feature a metal middle frame and is also said to carry an IP68/69 level of dust and water resistance.

Realme Neo 8 specifications (rumoured)

According to reports, the Realme Neo 8 will arrive with a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 1Hz to 165Hz refresh rate. It will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The Realme Neo 8 will run on Android 16 with a layer of Realme UI 7 on top. The device is said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and a massive 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support.

At present, there is no information about the Realme Neo 8’s launch date for the Chinese market or its global availability. Hopefully, upcoming reports will reveal more details about the device in the coming days.

In related news, Realme is all set to announce the photography-focused Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ mid-range phones on January 6 in India. The same event will also see the arrival of the Realme Pad 3 and Buds Air 8 TWS earbuds.
