Realme P4x 5G launched with a gaming-ready hardware; Watch 5 with GPS tags along

Realme has expanded its P4 lineup by announcing the Realme P4x 5G today. While it is an entry-level offering in the P4 segment, it retains a 144Hz screen and a massive 7,000mAh battery like the Realme P4 and P4 Pro.

Apart from this, the brand has also unveiled a new smartwatch called the Realme Watch 5, which comes with GPS connectivity support. Here’s all the information you need to know about these devices.

Realme P4x: Specs and features

Like the P4 and P4 Pro, the Realme P4x 5G arrives with a 6.72-inch screen that supports an FHD+ resolution, an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. However, readers should know that the P4x has an LCD panel to keep the cost low, whereas the other P4 series models have an AMOLED screen. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint sensor.

The Realme P4x 5G is powered by the Dimensity 7400 Ultra, which promises smooth performance on this mid-range phone. The phone ships with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage. It comes preloaded with Realme UI 6.0-based Android 15.

Under the hood, the P4x houses a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and reverse charging to power up other devices. This performance-focused mid-ranger promises 90fps gaming on titles like BGMI, Mobile Legends, and COD with the all-new GT Boost mode. For heat dissipation, the phone is equipped with a 5,300mm² VC cooling unit.

For photography, the phone has a 50MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the back and an 8MP front camera. It offers other features such as 10GB of virtual RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, bypass charging, dual speakers, and IP64-rated dust and water resistance.

Realme Watch 5: Specs and features

The Realme Watch 5 is equipped with a 1.97-inch AMOLED display, 600-nits brightness, and Panda Glass protection. It has a removable 22mm wristband and offers a lightweight 50.5g build. It is powered by a 460mAh battery delivering up to 16 days of standard use or 20 days in Customizable Light Smart Mode.

The Watch 5 is a GPS-enabled device that comes with various health and fitness features such as 108 sports modes, VO2 Max tracking, auto workout detection, comprehensive sleep and blood oxygen monitoring, women’s health tracking, and Bluetooth calling. Additional tools include NFC, customizable watch faces, a functional crown, music controls, and IP68 water resistance.

Realme P4x 5G, Watch 5: Price and availability

The Realme P4x 5G has arrived in India in two options: 6GB+128GB for Rs 15,999, 8GB+128GB for Rs 17,499, and 8GB+256GB for Rs 19,499. The phone comes in shades like Matte Silver, Lake Green, and Elegant Pink.

The Realme Watch 5 is priced at Rs 4,499 and comes in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, Mint Blue, and Vibrant Orange colour options. Both devices are scheduled to go on sale in the country starting December 10.

As part of the launch offers, Realme is offering Rs 2,500 and Rs 500 cashback on Realme P4x 5G and Watch 5, respectively.
