Realme is said to be working on the Realme 16 Pro, an affordable camera-focused smartphone. Recently, the device was spotted at the TENAA certification in China, which revealed its entire specifications but did not reveal its images. The updated TENAA listing has now published the images and confirmed a new rear camera design that differs from the previous generation.
Realme 16 Pro to flaunt a new design
The images show that the Realme 16 Pro features a flat display on the front and a square camera island with rounded corners on the back. While it appears to house three cameras alongside an LED flash, the TENAA specifications confirm a dual-camera setup similar to the previous generation.
The purple edition is visible in these images, and leaks suggest that gold and grey colour variants are also expected.
Realme 16 Pro specifications (rumoured)
As per the TENAA listing, the Realme 16 Pro includes a 200MP main camera paired with an 8MP auxiliary lens, which could be used for ultra-wide shots. For selfies, it will feature a 50MP front camera.
It is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a crisp 1.5K resolution and may support a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it carries an unknown 2.5GHz chip.
In China, the device will come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It will pack a 7,000mAh battery and may support 80W fast charging.
Like the recently announced Realme GT 8 Pro, the Realme 16 Pro could ship with Android 16 and the latest Realme UI 7. It measures 7.75mm in thickness and weighs 192 grams, despite housing a significantly large battery.
Realme 16 Pro launch timeframe (rumoured)
With TENAA certification completed, the Realme 16 Pro appears set for a December launch in China. It may likely arrive in India and other markets in January 2026.
