Realme C85 5G is launching this week with durable build, huge battery

Realme recently launched the Realme GT 8 Pro with killer specs like the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 7,000mAh battery. Now, the brand is shifting its focus to an entry-level 5G phone dubbed the Realme C85 5G, which is slated to go official at 12 pm on November 28. Realme C85 5G key features

The official landing page of the Realme C85 5G confirms that it will feature a brighter display with 1,200 nits, making it easy to view under direct sunlight. For photography, it will feature a 50MP primary camera, and it will support the AI Edit Genie feature, which allows users to edit images using AI by speaking or entering a prompt.

The Realme C85 5G is equipped with a massive 7,000mAh battery that offers up to 22 hours of continuous video streaming. The company claims that even with 1 percent battery, the phone can deliver up to 9 hours of standby time and up to 40 minutes of calling.

The C85 will come with 45W wired charging and 6.5W reverse charging for powering other phones, earbuds, or smartwatches. Durability is another highlight of this phone, as it offers military-grade shock resistance and an IP68/69-rated dust- and waterproof body.

Realme P4x in the works

Realme has another phone named the Realme P4x 5G lined up for launch after the C85. Since it is a P-series phone, it is expected to be a performance-focused offering.

At present, the brand has only confirmed a few details like a flat display, 45W charging, bypass charging, and 90fps gaming. Its other details, including the launch date, are expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
