Realme Buds Air 8 with 55dB ANC to launch alongside the Realme 16 Pro series

Realme Buds Air 8 India launch has been officially confirmed, and the new TWS earbuds will debut alongside the Realme 16 Pro series, which is scheduled to be unveiled on January 6, 2026. Ahead of the launch, the brand has shared teasers confirming the earbuds’ design and highlighting some of their core features, while also revealing key camera details of its upcoming smartphones.

Realme Buds Air 8 design and features confirmed

Realme has confirmed that the Buds Air 8 has been designed in collaboration with renowned industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa, reflecting the same Master Design philosophy seen on the upcoming phones. The earbuds will arrive in Gold, Dark Grey, and Purple colour options, with the charging case featuring a mix of matte and glossy finishes for a refined look.

In terms of hardware, the Realme Buds Air 8 will feature a dual-driver setup consisting of an 11mm driver paired with a 6mm driver. The earbuds will support active noise cancellation with a claimed depth of up to 55dB.

Realme has also confirmed Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification along with support for the LHDC Bluetooth codec. Additionally, the Buds Air 8 will include AI-powered sound optimisation designed to enhance voice clarity, manage background noise, and adapt audio output across music and calls.

Realme 16 Pro series camera details officially revealed

Alongside the earbuds, Realme has confirmed key camera specifications of the Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. Both smartphones will feature a 200MP primary rear camera, positioning them as camera-focused offerings in their segment. The Pro+ variant will further include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

Realme has confirmed advanced video capabilities on the Pro+ model, including 4K HDR video recording across multiple zoom levels ranging from 1x up to 10x. Dual-focal 4K video recording at 60fps for 1x and 3.5x has also been confirmed, while the front camera will support 4K video recording at 60fps.

The Realme 16 Pro series will ship with Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 and will be available in Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink, and Orchid Purple colour options.
