Earlier this month, Realme unveiled the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ in India. Now, the brand has started teasing the arrival of the Realme 16 series in some Asian markets, including Vietnam. The teasers that are live in Vietnam have revealed an iPhone Air-like design. At the same time, the Realme 16 has been found listed on a Vietnamese retailer platform (via AndroidTreasure), revealing all its specifications well before launch.
Realme 16 specifications (rumoured)
As per the premature retailer listing, the Realme 16 will feature a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen offering an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The display will be protected by a layer of AGC DT-Star D+ glass.
For selfies, the Realme 16 will feature a 50MP front camera, while its rear panel houses a 50MP+2MP dual-camera setup. The images show a horizontal camera bar with a selfie mirror placed inside the LED flash. This design will allow users to capture impressive selfies even using the rear camera.
The Realme 16 will be powered by the Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 60W charging support. It will also include features such as dual speakers, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, an IR blaster, NFC, and a USB-C port.
The Realme 16’s frame and back panel will be made of plastic. It will also carry IP68/69/69K-rated dust and water resistance, measure 8.1mm in thickness, and weigh around 183 grams.
Realme 16 launch date, variants, colour variants
The retailer listing suggests that the Realme 16 is scheduled to debut on February 2 in Vietnam. The phone will be available in two variants, such as 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB, and will be sold in Air White and Air Black colour options.
The Realme 16 is also expected to launch in India. However, the brand is currently focused on teasing the arrival of the P4 Power. As a result, the Realme 16 may debut in India later in the ongoing quarter.
