Budget phones in 2025 are having a moment. The price ceiling is low, expectations are high, and somehow, brands keep squeezing in bigger batteries, faster screens, and surprisingly capable cameras. The Realme P4x 5G and Vivo T4x 5G sit right at the heart of this chaos.
These are proper budget all-rounders built for students, daily commuters, late-night scrollers, and anyone who wants solid tech without selling a kidney. On paper, they look similar. In reality, they chase two very different personalities. Find out how they stack up against each other in our Realme P4x vs Vivo T4x comparison.
Realme P4x 5G vs Vivo T4x 5G: Build and design
Neither phone pretends to be ultra-premium. Both have a plastic-back, practical design, with very attractive colour options. The Realme P4x comes in Lake Green, Matte Silver, and Elegant Pink colourways, while the Vivo T4x comes in Pronto Purple, Marine Blue, and Glacial Teal.
The Realme P4x 5G feels a bit dense at 208 grams, thanks to the battery monster inside. The Vivo trims a little off at 204 grams and feels slightly sleeker at 8.09mm. It is a small difference, but after two hours of doomscrolling, your wrist will notice.
Realme P4x 5G vs Vivo T4x 5G: Display
Both phones house a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD panel. Big enough for Netflix binges, reels, and late-night YouTube rabbit holes. The difference is in how fast they scroll.
The Vivo T4x 5G runs at 120Hz, already smoother than most budget phones from a year ago. The Realme P4x 5G cranks it up to a whopping 144Hz.

Realme also pushes brightness up to 1,000 nits, while the Vivo T4x goes even further with 1,050 nits, making it easier to read messages under harsh afternoon sunlight. Both get IP64 ratings, which means light rain and dusty roads are not instant panic scenarios.
Realme P4x 5G vs Vivo T4x 5G: Performance and cameras
Performance is where Realme leans hard into numbers. The Dimensity 7400 Ultra inside the P4x is simply faster than the Dimensity 7300 powering the Vivo. Gaming, camera launches, heavy WhatsApp group chaos, and app switching should feel smoother on the Realme.
As for software, both phones boot with Android 15 out of the box. Vivo comes with Funtouch OS 15, while Realme features Realme UI 6.0. All in all, if performance is your personality trait, Realme is clearly speaking your language.
As for optics, once again, both phones use a familiar setup. Both come with a 50MP main camera, a 2MP secondary sensor, and an 8MP front camera. Daylight photos should look sharp on both. The phones also support 4K@30fps video recording using the rear camera.
Realme P4x 5G vs Vivo T4x 5G: Battery life
The Realme P4x carries a massive 7,000mAh battery. Two full days of mixed use is completely realistic on this phone. Add 45W fast charging and reverse wired charging, and it quietly becomes the emergency charger for your friend group.

Vivo is no lightweight either with a 6,500mAh battery and 44W charging, which still delivers excellent endurance. But when both are placed side by side, Realme should simply last longer, full stop.
Realme P4x 5G vs Vivo T4x 5G: Price
The Vivo T4x 5G starts at just Rs 15,499 for the 6GB + 128GB. The Realme starts at Rs 17,999 for the same storage variant. That gap might seem small, but in the budget segment, Rs 1,500 is the difference between ‘good deal’ and ‘stretching the wallet’. If you are shopping with strict limits, Vivo may be the one to consider with very few trade-offs.
Realme P4x 5G vs Vivo T4x 5G: Which one actually makes sense for you?
At the end of the day, it comes down to priorities. Choose the Realme P4x 5G if you care about battery life that feels unstoppable, a faster 144Hz display, and stronger gaming performance.
On the other hand, you can choose the Vivo T4x 5G if you want a sweeter price starting at just Rs 15,499, and a lighter, slimmer build. Overall though, Realme seems to have a slight edge when it comes to raw specs. Which one will you pick? Drop a comment to let us know!
