As far as the battery is concerned, the Redmi 15 5G carries a massive 7000mAh battery with 33W charging and even 18W reverse wired charging for other devices. The Redmi 13 5G comes with a 5030mAh battery and 33W charging. For users who push their phones through long days, the 15 5G is ahead.

Out of the box, the Redmi 15 5G ships with Android 15 and HyperOS 2, with two Android updates and four years of security promised. The Redmi 13 5G also runs HyperOS with features like Wet Touch, but doesn’t match the same update roadmap. Both include 5G, dual SIM support, IR blaster, and a 3.5 mm jack.

Overall, the Redmi 15 5G for Rs 14,999 is a better choice as it offers faster display, more power, and improved endurance. The Redmi 13 5G, on the other hand, is slightly cheaper at Rs 12,499, but it’s also a slightly older device.
