For the past few days, the rumour mill has been consistently claiming that the Redmi 15C 5G will be debuting soon in India. Today, the brand released an official confirmation that the handset will debut on December 3. Here’s a look at what to expect from this budget-friendly offering from the brand.
Redmi 15C 5G: What to expect
The landing page available on Xiaomi India’s website only gives a glimpse of the Redmi 15C 5G’s rear design. The overall look is identical to the Redmi 15C 5G, which debuted globally in September this year. At present, the microsite has no information about the specs of the device.

The Redmi 15C 5G available in the global market features a huge 6.9-inch IPS LCD panel that produces an HD+ resolution and a 12Hz refresh rate. In terms of durability, the device comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The Redmi 15C 5G runs on Android 15 with a layer of HyperOS 2 on top. It is expected to receive two years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates. It features an 8MP camera on the front and a 50MP camera on the back.
Under the hood, the Redmi 15C 5G has the Dimensity 6300 chipset, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The device is equipped with other features, such as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USC-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Redmi 15C 5G price in India (rumoured)
As per a recent leak, Redmi 15C 5G will arrive in three variants, such as 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB. These options are likely to be priced at Rs 12,499, Rs 13,999, and Rs 14,999, respectively. It may arrive in three shades, such as black, mint, and purple.
