Redmi’s next tablet is an affordable multimedia device with days of battery life

Xiaomi’s Pad 7 is one of the best Android tablets you can get for productivity and gaming, but like some great tablets on the market, it comes at a slight premium. But fret not, as Redmi is all set to launch an affordable tablet that offers a large screen, a long battery life, and the latest OS.

Called the Redmi Pad 2, the budget-centric tablet is set to launch soon. Let’s see its key features and expected price range.

All about the Redmi Pad 2

The Redmi Pad 2 will launch three years after the release of the predecessor. The second generation of the tablet will come with a high refresh rate display and a bright screen. Reports suggest an 11-inch 2.5K resolution screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of peak brightness for better sunlight legibility.

The tablet is expected to be powered by a MediaTek chipset. It could be the Helio G100 Ultra chipset. This is a 4G-ready chipset, which means the tablet won’t have 5G connectivity. But that’s alright if Redmi manages to go aggressive on the price.
