Samsung rolled out its flagship Galaxy S24 smartphones early this year, and with it came the much-anticipated Galaxy AI update. Not too long ago, the brand confirmed that the update is coming to a bunch of other Galaxy devices as well. And now, the update is here. Read on to find out more.

Which Samsung devices will get the Galaxy AI update in April?

With the new update, Galaxy S23 users (including Galaxy S23 FE), Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 will be able to enjoy Galaxy AI features on their devices. This means users will now be able to make the most of features such as Circle to Search, Live Translate, and Note Assist.

Apart from this, they will also be able to use Generative Edit will give users the creative freedom to resize and align objects within a photo. Galaxy AI will also give the select Samsung devices the ability to subtly tweak photos when required.

How to get the Galaxy AI update on your Samsung device

If your Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet makes it to the list, all you have to do look for an Android 14-based OneUI 6.1 update on your device. The features are reportedly going to be free of cost for eligible smartphones until 2025.

Users will need a working Samsung Account and an active internet connection to use these features. Apart from these, depending on your smartphone, you might also need to download additional resources to make the most of these features.
