You don’t have to spend big to get good sound. That’s the message Samsung is sending loud and clear with its newest launch – the Samsung Galaxy Buds Core. In an age where wireless earbuds are either overloaded with features or overpriced for what they offer, the Buds Core aim for balance.
They’re light on the wallet but surprisingly heavy on specs, bringing features like Active Noise Cancellation, Galaxy AI, and solid battery life to a price point that used to mean compromise. Not anymore. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest Samsung Galaxy Buds Core.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Core: Everything you need to know
Let’s start with what really matters – these are Samsung’s cheapest Galaxy Buds ever, but they come with serious chops. For starters, there’s Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which is not something you’d expect from Samsung at this price. Whether you’re drowning out the drone of a daily commute or tuning in during a workout, ANC makes a noticeable difference.
The Buds Core support Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring a snappy and stable connection, and come with AAC and Samsung’s Seamless Codec (SSC) for higher-quality wireless audio. Samsung is also pushing the narrative of “best-in-class call quality”, a claim that we can’t verify yet, but is a bold flex for budget buds.
Design-wise, they echo the Galaxy Buds FE – clean, minimal, and practical. The case feels familiar if you’ve used older Galaxy Buds, with a matte finish and a compact form factor. There’s USB-C charging and, surprisingly at this price, wireless charging. Durability hasn’t been left out either, with an IP54 rating, meaning you’re protected against dust and the odd splash of water.
Where it gets especially interesting is the Galaxy AI integration. The Buds Core borrow premium smarts from Samsung’s flagship ecosystem, featuring real-time voice call transcriptions and Interpreter Mode, which is infinitely useful for travellers or anyone juggling multilingual conversations.

And battery? It’s generous. Samsung promises up to 35 hours of total playback (buds plus case) with ANC off, and up to 20 hours with ANC on. This puts them in a very comfortable zone for all-day use and then some.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Core: Pricing and availability
The Galaxy Buds Core are priced at just Rs 4,999 and will be available in Black and White starting today in India. That undercuts the Galaxy Buds FE and puts Samsung in direct competition with budget audio brands that have long dominated this price band. At this price, you can also consider the feature-rich realme Buds Air6 Pro, or the JBL Wave Beam 2 for boosted bass.
By bringing features typically found in Rs 10K+ earbuds to a sub-Rs 5K product, Samsung is throwing down the gauntlet. If you’re looking for an entry point into the Galaxy audio ecosystem or just want solid ANC and AI features without breaking the bank, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Core might just be the sleeper hit of the season.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Core do not support wireless charging. Nowhere on Samsung’s official website is it mentioned that these earbuds support wireless charging. They can only be charged via USB-C.
