Samsung today launched its Galaxy M17e 5G phone in India. It is the second phone to debut in the Galaxy M17 lineup after the standard model. There are few differences between the two devices with the latest offering seemingly packing enhanced specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G features an 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. The pill-shaped island on the rear accommodates a 50MP primary camera paired with a 2MP depth lens. There is also an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper. The device is IP54 rated resistant against dust and splash.

Internally, the Galaxy M17e 5G is equipped with the same Dimensity 6300 processor as the Galaxy M17 5G, and it packs up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone draws its power from a 6,000mAh battery cell with support for 25W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G ships with OneUI 8-based Android 16 and is confirmed to get six years of OS updates and security patches. It also gets Gemini Live features and Circle to Search.

The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G prices in India start at Rs 12,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant. It can be purchased in Vibe Violet and Blitz Blue colours from a bunch of online and offline retail channels.
