Samsung recently confirmed the launch of its next affordable smartphone in India. Called the Samsung Galaxy M36 5G, the budget smartphone now has a release date. Additionally, Samsung has revealed its full design and some key features. Here’s everything you need to know.
Samsung Galaxy M36 5G launch date, expected price
The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G will launch next week in India. It is set to launch on June 27, which isn’t too far away. The device will arrive in three colour options: Orange Haze, Velvet Black, and Serene Green.
The device is expected to be priced under Rs 20,000, competing with affordable phones from OnePlus, Realme, Motorola, and others. Upon launch, the smartphone will likely go on sale in both online and offline stores across India.
Samsung Galaxy M36 5G key features and highlights
The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G is advertised to come with a matte finish on the rear, with triple cameras placed vertically in the top right. The device may have a thickness of 7.7mm, which isn’t too thin but not too thick as well, ensuring you can easily slide it into your pockets.
The device may come with a SuperAMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It is expected to have a 50MP main camera out of the three camera sensors on the rear. It may have OIS for stable footage and up to 4K video recording support.

Other than this, Samsung may go with an Exynos chipset for performance. It could be the Exynos 1380 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The device may pack a large battery and boot on Android 15-based One UI 7. Lastly, it may come with some AI features, including AI Photo Edit.
