Samsung Galaxy S25 FE arrives with a bigger battery, Exynos 2400

Samsung unveiled the much-awaited Galaxy S25 FE in India. The smartphone features a similar design to the Galaxy S25+, but packs different internals. Some of its highlights include a new Exynos processor and a larger battery. The fast charging speeds have also been improved.

What’s new with the Galaxy S25 FE?

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE features an identical design, and it’s what makes it stand out from other premium mid-rangers. It boasts flat sides and a three-camera setup on the rear that completes its looks.

The device boasts a 6.7-inch Infinity-O display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate support for smooth scrolling. Compared to the Galaxy S24 FE, the bezels on the new model feel narrower, adding to its looks.

The cameras remain the same, at least on the specs sheet. There’s a 50MP main sensor with OIS support, a 12MP ultra-wide unit, and an 8MP telephoto sensor for 3x zoom shots. It supports 4K video recording from the rear camera.

What takes care of the performance is the Exynos 2400, which is a slight upgrade from the Exynos 2400e chipset. It has 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It boots on the latest Android 16 OS and has One UI 8 on top.

One of the highlights of the device is its larger battery. Compared to the predecessor’s 4,700mAh cell, the S25 FE gets a 4,900mAh battery. Plus, the charging speeds have gone from 25W to 45W. It also has 15W wireless charging to top up your smaller gadgets.

The Galaxy S25 FE starts at $650 (about Rs 57,300) in the US. The India pricing is yet to be revealed. However, once the details are out, we’ll update you on the same.
