Several reports have claimed that Samsung will announce the Galaxy S26 series by late February 2026, with availability expected in March. Months before the official announcement, popular tipster OnLeaks has shared live shots of the Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra dummy units, offering a good look at what could be close to their final design.
Samsung Galaxy S26, S26 Ultra dummy units emerge
The live shots show that the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra feature an oval-shaped camera module housing three cameras. In comparison, the S25 series came with individually placed camera sensors.
The S26 Ultra includes a fourth camera and an additional lens alongside the oval-shaped module. The images also show that both phones have similar curved corners, with the S26 Ultra being the larger device compared to the more compact S26, as usual.
Overall, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra do not bring major design overhauls, but the subtle changes are noticeable compared to their predecessors. While the front design of these phones has not been revealed, they are expected to feature a flat design with minimal bezels, similar to earlier models.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series at a glance
Samsung has yet to confirm details about its upcoming S-series flagships. However, reports suggest that the lineup will also include the Galaxy S26+. The standard and Plus models are expected to feature Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2600 chipset.
The S26 Ultra, on the other hand, is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. Speculation also suggests that the Galaxy S26 series could see a price hike due to rising memory and chipset costs.
