Earlier this week, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab A11+, which debuted in India with a price tag of Rs 22,999. It arrived as the company’s most affordable tablet with 5G support. Now, the brand has unveiled the Galaxy Tab A11 in the country. While it lacks 5G support, the device brings some interesting specs along with cellular connectivity. Read on to know more in detail.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A11: Specs and features
When compared to the Galaxy Tab A11 Plus, the standard Galaxy Tab A11 is a smaller device equipped with an 8.7-inch LCD screen and a 5,100mAh battery. The Plus edition packs a larger 11-inch screen and a 7,040mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab A11’s display supports 800 x 1340 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. The tablet comes with support for 15W charging.
Under the hood, the tablet features the Helio G99 chip, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to128GB of storage. For additional storage, the device is equipped with a microSD card slot. Globally, the device comes with up to seven years of Android OS updates and security patches, but the brand is yet to confirm the software update details for the Indian edition.
The Galaxy Tab A11 has an 8MP camera with autofocus support on the back and it has a 5MP front camera. For audiophiles, the device features Dolby Atmos-powered dual speakers. It comes with other features, such as a 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and face unlock support.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A11: Price and availability
The Galaxy Tab A11 has arrived in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi+LTE (cellular) versions. It comes in two shades, such as Gray and Silver.
The Wi-Fi-only variants come in 4GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB editions priced at Rs 12,999 and Rs 17,999, respectively.
The LTE version also comes in 4GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB options priced at Rs 15,999 and Rs 20,999, respectively. As a part of the launch offer, the company is offering Rs 3,000 cashback on all the variants of this tablet.
