Samsung has announced a special Olympic Edition version of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, created exclusively for athletes participating in the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.

The device has been confirmed as part of Samsung’s long-running Olympic partnership, with a focus on enhancing the Games-time experience for competitors. Here’s a look at all the details about this special edition offering.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition details and features

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Olympic Edition will be provided to nearly 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians from around 90 countries and is designed to support daily life inside the Olympic Village as well as key competition moments. It introduces a custom design inspired by Milano Cortina 2026, featuring a distinctive blue glass finish, a gold-toned metal frame, and Olympic-themed accessories, including a special case and wallpapers created for the Winter Games.

In terms of hardware and software, the Olympic Edition packs the same internals as the standard Galaxy Z Flip 7, which was announced in July 2025. It includes a 6.9-inch foldable screen, a 4.1-inch cover screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 4,300mAh battery, a dual rear camera system with a 50MP wide camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, along with Galaxy AI features tailored for quick interactions on the Flex Window.

Tools such as on-device Interpreter, AI-powered photo editing, and personalised daily briefings are aimed at helping athletes communicate, manage schedules, and capture high-quality images during the Games.

Several Olympic Games-related apps and services come pre-installed, including Athlete365 integration, fitness tracking, digital passes, and complimentary 100GB 5G eSIM connectivity.

At Milano Cortina 2026, Samsung will expand its Victory Selfie concept to the Winter Olympics, including support for team events. This allows athletes to capture and share podium moments directly from their own perspective. Alongside this, Samsung is introducing the Victory Profile initiative, featuring portrait storytelling captured on the Galaxy S25 Ultra for select National Olympic Committees.
