2026 is going to be a great year for smartphones, and January is kicking off things with at least five new smartphone launches from top brands. This month, you have phone launches from OnePlus, Oppo, Redmi, and others. There are mix of budget and mid-premium phones arriving this month. And we are here to tell you all about them.
Redmi Note 15
Redmi is kicking things off with the Note 15 series. The Note series has always been quite popular, and this time as well, Redmi plans to keep the stakes high. Although only the Note 15 is expected to launch on January 6, the Pros are expected to launch later.
The Note 15 may come with a 108MP camera, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, and a large battery for an all-day usage. It may arrive in the Rs 20,000 segment.
Realme 16 Pro
The Realme 16 Pro is also launching on January 6, and it’s coming with a new design. The series will have at least two phones – the Realme 16 Pro and the Realme 16 Pro+. The latter will likely get the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Both phones are expected to feature high refresh rate screens and large batteries for extended usage.
Oppo Reno 15
Oppo is also coming with two new mid-range phones, they may launch in the first or second week of January. This time around, there could be three models, including the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini.
All three models are expected to feature Aerospace-Grade Aluminium and have high refresh rate screens. These phones will be quite durable, thanks to the IP66, IP68, and IP69.
OnePlus Turbo
OnePlus Turbo 6 series is launching on January 8 in China, and it could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and have up to 9,000mAh battery. There could be two phones in the series, dubbed the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V, and both may high refresh rate support for gaming.
Poco M8
Poco is also coming with a budget smartphone, dubbed the Poco M8. It’s set to launch on January 8, and may come with a design similar to the Note 15. The highlight of the device will be its long battery life, thanks to a 6,330mAh battery. It may also feature a high refresh rate display and come in different colours.
More phones launching in Q1
In Q1 2026, there are several other phones launching across price segments. Some of the most anticipated phones include the Galaxy S26 series and the Xiaomi 17.
