Vivo V30e is a very slim smartphone, with a very big battery

Vivo is among the few phone-makers that don’t focus just on specifications, especially in the mid-range segment, where it can often feel that numbers are all there is.

The brand has launched plenty of smartphones over the years that focus on design, in-hand feel and other aspects that actually boost the user experience. The latest in Vivo’s lineup is a very slim phone that magically manages to pack a big battery in it.

We’re talking about the new Vivo V30e. The mid-range smartphone looks premium, primarily thanks to its 7.65mm thickness, which makes it one of the thinnest phones out there, even thinner than the iPhone 15.

Despite this, the Vivo V30e packs a rather big 5,000mAh battery. The brand even officially claims that the device is the slimmest to pack a 5,000mAh battery. Here’s all you need to know about the phone.

Vivo V30e key features and specifications

The Vivo V30e sports a 6.78-inch curved 120Hz AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, a 5G-supporting chipset. The phone also comes 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

The V30e houses a 50MP main rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation), along with an 8MP ultrawide camera. There is also a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The 5,500mAh battery in the phone also supports 44W fast charging. Other features include an IP64 water and dust resistance rating, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and Android 14-based FunTouch OS 14. Vivo also promises three years of Android updates and four years of security patches.

Vivo V30e price, availability

The Vivo V30e is priced at Rs 27,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and Rs 29,999 for the 8GB/256GB model. The phone is also available in two colours – Silk Blue and Velvet Red.

While the Vivo V30e is a great-design focused device in the segment, those looking for more performance can consider other options like the Redmi Note 13 Pro and the Nothing Phone (2a)
