It looks like Vivo is setting the stage for another smartphone arrival – the Vivo V60. According to a report by Smartprix, this sleek camera-focused phone is landing in India on August 12, and it will likely bring some serious imaging hardware to the table. It is poised to bring upgrades over its predecessor including a refined design, new internals, and improved Zeiss optics. So, with that said, here’s what we know about the Vivo V60 so far.
Vivo V60 launching in India soon: Expected specs and price
Let’s start with the design. The V60 is tipped to drop in three bold colourways including Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold. Flat displays are clearly the flavour of 2025, and Vivo’s leaning in hard into the trend, ditching curves for sharp, symmetrical sophistication.
The phone will reportedly house a triple-lens setup headlined by Zeiss optics including a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto shooter. It should be a well-balanced trio capable of solid portrait work, ultrawide landscapes, and tight zoomed-in detail. On the front, there could be a 50MP selfie camera which would complete the all-around imaging game.
Display-wise, the V60 is expected to sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel, clocking in a 120Hz refresh rate and hitting up to 1,300 nits of brightness. Under the hood, the phone will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It may not be a benchmark-breaking monster, but it should run smooth enough for everything short of hardcore gaming.

As for endurance, the phone is expected to get a massive 6,500mAh battery paired with 90W fast charging. Funtouch OS based on Android 16 will likely be in charge on the software side, while features like stereo speakers and IP68/IP69 durability ratings round out the premium vibe.
In terms of pricing, the Vivo V60 is expected to drop somewhere between Rs 37,000 and Rs 40,000. Not quite flagship, but definitely not basic either. If you’re looking for options at a similar price, you can check out the OnePlus Nord 5 or Samsung Galaxy A36.
