Vivo recently began teasing its latest V-series addition, and now it’s official, the Vivo V60e will launch in India on October 7. Slated to arrive just in time for the festive rush, the new mid-ranger blends design finesse with AI-first features that put photography at the centre of the experience.
With a focus on portraits, durability, and all-day battery life, Vivo is positioning the V60e as the phone that keeps up with both celebrations and everyday chaos. Here’s all that’s known about the upcoming Vivo V60e.
Vivo V60e: Expected specs and features
The V60e is expected to ship in two shiny shades, Elite Purple and Noble Gold, wrapped in a quad-curved OLED display with ultra-thin bezels and 120Hz refresh rate. Vivo has also given it serious street cred with IP68 and IP69 dust/water resistance and Diamond Shield Glass protection on top.
On the inside, the phone is expected to run on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15, and Vivo could promise three major OS upgrades plus five years of security updates.
The software perks lean heavily on AI. It could come with features like AI Captions that can transcribe and translate meetings in real time, and Image Expander and Four Season Portraits, that return from the V60. There’s even Gemini integration, a nod to the AI-first direction smartphones are sprinting towards.

On the back, the V60e is likely to pair a 200MP primary sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, plus an Aura Light ring that doubles as an LED flash. You can expect sharper night portraits and that sought-after 85mm focal length look, directly out of the phone. Up front, the phone could house a 50MP selfie camera with a 92-degree field of view, ideal for group shots.
Moreover, the Vivo V60e is expected to house a massive 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. The phone is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 7300 chip, but we’ll know for sure closer to the launch.
Vivo V60e: Expected pricing and launch date
While Vivo hasn’t officially dropped the price yet, online listings suggest the V60e will come in three models; 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. These are expected to be priced at Rs 28,749, Rs 30,749, and Rs 32,749 respectively. That puts it firmly in the premium mid-range segment, with battery life and AI-powered photography as its calling cards.
